Peak to Peak
My family has generations deep ties to the higher altitude communities along the Peak to Peak Highway. My children's Great-Grandfather, Harold Walton, was a CU Professor, pioneering mountaineer and founding member of Rocky Mountain Rescue.
Their Grandmother, Liz Caile, had a column in the Mountain Ear for 20 years, which were compiled into a book upon her passing titled A Life at Treeline. Liz and her husband, Skip Green, a beloved Nederland native, lived off-grid above Ward (they were hardy souls!) and my children's memories of grandma's house include a bear in the kitchen helping itself to freshly baked cookies, rides behind the snowmobile in the rescue litter, and tromping through the snow to find the perfect Christmas tree to cut each season.
As I travel back and forth between Boulder and Evergreen, my preferred route is Boulder Canyon to the Peak to Peak through Nederland, Rollinsville and Black Hawk down to Evergreen, visiting family, friends and clients along the way. It's a good bet you'll find me at Toss in Rollinsville, about the half-way point, enjoying a hazy and Verde pizza.
West Metro
Through 5th grade, my family lived in the Berkeley neighborhood in West Denver. When my mother and I moved to Boulder, my father remained in West Denver and Wheat Ridge and I continued to spend time there. I took guitar lessons as a child in the old Flesher-Hinton building at 39th and Tennyson, now the outdoor gear retailer Feral. I love the revival of Tennyson Street and enjoy spending time there today.
Denver
Many a day and night was spent in Denver, from visiting family and friends to shopping...dining...dance clubs...theater...concerts...sporting events...my children's other grandparent's house in Washington Park...holiday ice skating and dinner at the Denver Country Club...and frequent trips as my children grew up to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, the Zoo, Botanic Gardens, and Six Flags. Today my children reside in Denver. I know my way around Denver's neighborhoods, too, and the pulse of the metro market.
Happily Ever After
I loved living within walking distance of everything as I was raising children in Boulder. Living at the base of Mount Evens Wilderness (they changed the name of the Mountain to Blue Sky but not the officially designated Wilderness Area) with its splendor and beauty and wildlife has been incredible! Today, daily life happens within a one-hour radius of Evergreen and I am blessed to enjoy the best of all worlds.

As a life-long resident, and through my unique experiences, I know the wider West Metro Area as well as individual communities. I have lived, loved, worked and played throughout the West Metro Area my whole life, with family, friends and outdoor adventures across the region.

Genesee and Evergreen
As an empty nester today, I live in Evergreen in Clear Creek County. I attended summer camp in Genesee as a child and have always been a bit obsessed with the Sleepper House (IYKYK). We also had friends and family in the area and I've always felt a deep connection here. I know my way around these mountain roads and dispersed neighborhoods and know the pulse of the community and local market.
Boulder
Nobody knows Boulder County and its individual communities better than I do!
I moved to Boulder in 6th grade, where I ultimately graduated from Fairview High School and CU (ENVD, Urban Planning) and raised my children, who are 4th generation Boulderites.
As a student of urban planning at CU-Boulder, the burgeoning Boulder/Denver Metro Area was our case study, expanding my knowledge of the region. I managed several county-wide campaigns and know Boulder County down to the precinct level.
I grew up in South Boulder and my children were born and raised in Old North Boulder. Everything we needed was within 12-square blocks and I even walked to Community Hospital at Balsam and Broadway when I was in labor (my children's father was born there, too).
Having family, life-long friends and clients in Boulder, I am there often.
