My Story
I offer a unique macro and micro perspective of West Metro, foothill and close-in mountain communities in Jefferson, Clear Creek, Gilpin and Boulder Counties. As a life-long resident, and through my unique experiences, I know the wider West Metro Area and individual communities by heart.
As an empty nester today, I live in Evergreen in Clear Creek County. As a child I attended summer camp and had friends and family in the area and always felt a deep connection here. I know the mountain roads and dispersed neighborhoods of Evergreen and surrounding areas and love selling mountain homes!
Through 5th grade, my family lived in West Denver/Wheat Ridge before moving to Boulder where I ultimately graduated from Fairview High School and CU (ENVD, Urban Planning) and raised my children, who are 4th generation Boulderites. Nobody knows Boulder or Boulder County better than I do!
I majored in urban planning at CU with the burgeoning Boulder/Denver Metro Area as our case study, gaining an even deeper level of knowledge of the West Metro Area, and I managed several region- and county-wide campaigns and know the region down to the precinct level. I have lived, loved, worked and played in the West Metro Area my whole life, with family, friends and outdoor adventures across the region.
My family has generations deep ties to the higher altitude communities along the Peak to Peak Highway, too. My children's Great-Grandfather, Harold Walton, was a CU Professor of Chemistry, pioneering local mountaineer and founding member of Rocky Mountain Rescue. Their Grandmother, Liz Caile, had a column in the Mountain Ear for 20 years, which were compiled into a book upon her passing called A Life at Treeline. Liz and her husband, Skip Green, a beloved Nederland native, lived off-grid above Ward off the Peak to Peak (they were hardy souls!) and my children's memories of grandma and grandpa's house include bears sneaking into the kitchen to eat freshly baked cookies, rides behind the snowmobile in the rescue litter and freshly cut Christmas trees every year.
From the West Metro foothills to the Peak to Peak Highway, and north to south from Longmont to Littleton, I've got you covered! Whether you’ve narrowed your search down to a specific city or neighborhood, or you’re still exploring the wider region, I provide deep local knowledge and experience to help you find your dream home.
